Very interesting article. It gave me a realization that how much more democratic is the English language. People, yes, you, me, or anyone can create new words. As long as enough people use them, they stay. Witness the list of computer words, bit, bytes, Google, email, etc. And variations of spellings. No need to be approved by anyone.

Whereas in Chinese, it needs to be in the official list of words (so that computer can display or printer can print).

Thanks for getting me to think in that direction.

P.S. I can’t remember for sure, but one of your biggest “私人「大事」” is coming soon right? Congrats.
